Storefront widgets
Show reviews, star ratings and questions on your store with theme app blocks. No theme code to edit.
Add widgets to your theme
Open Widgets. Turn on the app embed first, then add the blocks you want. Each button (Turn on, Add to theme, Configure) opens your theme editor with the widget ready to place; save the theme after.

You can add Growth and Pro widgets on any plan; they show on your store after you upgrade.
Star ratings on product cards
Open the MOA Review app embed in the theme editor and tick Stars on product cards. Stars then show on product cards in collections, search, the home page and related products, on every plan. Options:
- Card rating style: compact (one star, rating and count) or five stars.
- Where on the card: under the product title, under the price, or at the bottom of the card.
- Alignment, Show the number of reviews on cards and Show empty stars on products without reviews.
- Product card title selector (advanced): use it if the stars appear in the wrong place on your theme.
Product reviews block
- Show "Write a review" button opens a step-by-step review form on the page, no login needed. Links to
#moa-writeopen the form too. - Show the Questions tab lets shoppers ask questions. It also needs Show the Questions tab turned on in the app's Widgets page.
- Add star rating to Google results (structured data) adds rating data for search engines. Turn it off if your theme already outputs product structured data with ratings.
The review form takes a star rating, a title and text, answers to any review attributes, and up to 5 photos.

Settings: star size, Show the number of reviews, Show when there are no reviews yet, Show the fit or summary line (needs review attributes) and Clicking the stars: go to the reviews, or open Write a review (needs the Product reviews block on the same page).

Settings: number of reviews, Lowest rating shown, Only reviews with photos, Only featured reviews, Only this product (on product pages), Show the average rating and auto-scroll.
All reviews page
- In Shopify, create a page called Reviews.
- In Widgets, choose Add to theme next to All reviews page and add the block to that page's template.
Design for every theme
The design on the Widgets page applies to every theme, so a new theme only needs the widgets added again:
- Default layout: List, Grid or Slider (Grid and Slider need Growth or Pro).
- Reviews per page, Star colour (hex), Corner radius (px), Show review dates, Show review photos.
- Write a review button text. Leave it empty to hide the button.
- Use theme font instead: use your theme's font instead of the app font.
In Settings › Review display you choose the Reviewer name on your store (full name, first name and last initial, or initials only), which Review source badges show (Verified purchase, Verified by store, Imported) and the Default review order.
