Gift orders and gift links

Send free products as real Shopify orders, either picked by you or chosen by the creator on a gift link.

How gift orders work

Every gift is a real Shopify order with a 100% discount, tagged influencer-shipment. It uses your normal stock and fulfilment, so nothing changes for whoever packs your orders. There are three ways to create one.

1. Ship products yourself

1. Open the creator's page and find Ship products.
2. Click Pick products and choose any products and variants from your store. Set quantities.
3. Leave the address empty to use the customer's default address, or enter one.
4. Keep Create the order right away ticked, or untick it to create a draft only. Click Create gift order.

2. Send a personal gift link

Let the creator choose. First pick your gift products in Settings › Gift products and set Items per gift link (default).

1. On an Accepted creator's page, find Gift request link.
2. Set Items they can pick and click Create link, then Copy link and send it.
3. The creator picks products, options and quantities up to the item limit, then enters their delivery details.
4. Submitting creates the free gift order and moves the creator to Shipped. Each personal link makes one order. Use Replace with new link if you need a fresh one.

3. Multi-use gift links (Pro)

One link for many people, for an event, a community or a newsletter.

1. Open Gift Links › New multi-use gift link.
2. Enter a name (only you see it), the Number of uses, Items per person, an optional end date and the Creator type for new people. Click Save.
3. Copy the link from Your gift links and share it.

Each person enters their name, email, Instagram, phone and address and picks products. They are matched to an existing creator by email or Instagram, or added as a new creator, and a free gift order is created. The same person can't use the same link twice. Use Turn off to close a link at any time.

Bulk personal links (Pro)

In Creators, select people and choose Bulk actions › Create gift links (CSV). Each creator gets a personal link, and the CSV has name, email, Instagram and link. Links already sent are kept.

What creators see

• Your gift products with their options. Out-of-stock options are hidden.
• A delivery form with country and phone with country code, so addresses work in any country.
• An optional box to let you reshare their content in your social media and ads for a set number of months (Settings › Content rights period). If they tick it, their deliverables are marked usable in ads.
• On Growth and Pro, your logo and accent colour (Settings › Gift and apply page look).

Send store credit instead (Growth and Pro)

On an Accepted creator's page, Send store credit instead of a free order gives Shopify store credit so the creator picks their own products and pays with the credit. No free order is created, any open gift link is closed and the creator moves to Shipped.
