Getting started

Set up MOA Influencer: what each menu does, the settings to check first and the everyday workflow.

Before you start

MOA Influencer runs inside your Shopify admin. Once it is installed, open it from Apps in Shopify. Money is shown in your store's currency and dates follow your store's time zone, both read from Shopify. The app is in English by default; you can pick another language in Settings › Language (saved in your browser only).

The menu

Set up in four steps

The Dashboard shows a Get started with MOA Influencer checklist until these are done:

  1. Add your brand handle. In Settings › Brand and sender, enter your brand name and Instagram (or other) handle. They fill in the outreach templates and show on your apply and gift pages.
  2. Choose gift products. In Settings › Gift products, click Pick products. Gift links only show these products; out-of-stock options are hidden. Click Save.
  3. Set the email reply-to address. In Settings › Email sending, enter the Reply-to email. Creators' replies to emails sent from the app go to this address.
  4. Add your first creators. Import a CSV or a sheet, add someone by hand, or share your apply page. See Adding creators.

Also worth a look in Settings: Creator types (Influencer, UGC, Paid and Barter by default), Message templates, Codes and costs and Reminder rules (Tasks).

The everyday workflow

  1. Find: import, add or let creators apply.
  2. Reach out: by email, Instagram DM or WhatsApp from the creator's page, with templates that fill in the name.
  3. Agree: move the creator to Accepted, set the fee, create a personal discount code and add the promised deliverables with due dates.
  4. Ship gifts: create a gift order yourself with Ship products, or send a gift link.
  5. Track posts: add each post link to its deliverable. Late posts show in Tasks.
  6. Measure ROI: code orders, code revenue, product cost, fee and ROI on each creator's page and on the Dashboard.
Nothing is ever deleted when you reach a plan limit or change plans. Locked features come back when you upgrade.
